Great customer service & great cart with just a few minor issues.
This is a 4.5-star rating, but their customer service and value make it better than 5 stars. I've had the Birdie 3 (Non-Follow model) for a few weeks now and wanted to use it for a few rounds before leaving a review. The cart is very sturdy, stable, and quiet. It has handled every terrain with no issue, and as a new remote cart user, I have even run it into the curb and over a few bigger holes while not paying attention. It didn't hurt or upset the cart a bit. My only issues with the cart and design are minimal. 1. Is that when folded, the cart lies on its front wheel support, not wheels. Or if stored standing up, it lies on the back corner. Both of which cause scratches if laid on rough surfaces. I wish they made it so that it either sits on the wheels or they put protective bumpers on those areas (I will add clear vinyl to protect those areas). 2. I wish the remote had a one-touch lock button or slide. The process to lock/unlock the remote is too complicated to do every few minutes. 3. I wish the transition from using the push assist to using the remote was more seamless, but to be honest, I haven't used another brand, so they may all be the same. 4. This just may be my battery or maybe my home course, but my battery has no chance of making it through 36 holes. After every round of 18 holes(4 so far), the battery indicator is at 2 bars out of 5. I have charged the battery and remote completely before each round, but it still ends at the same level. I live in CO, and my course is moderately hilly but nothing extreme. Now here is where Navee's great Value and Customer service come in. If I need a new or 2nd battery, they are only like $140. Compare that to a new battery for a Motocaddy ($399) or MGI ($550). This is also the same for every other replacement part you may ever need, wheels, remotes, grips, etc. I would urge you to compare replacement part prices before making your buying choice, because at some point you will need them for every make and manufacturer. As for their customer service, it's top-notch (something I hear can't be said for some other cart brands). I ordered my Birdie 3, and I had an issue with it when it arrived, but their customer service was very quick and responsive to help correct it. Not only that, they followed up a week or so later to make sure everything was working correctly, and there were no other issues. When was the last time any company you can think of was not only quick to respond, but also followed up on their own accord to make sure everything was resolved?! That is 5-star customer service! So far, I am a very big fan of not only the Birdie 3 but of Navee as a brand.
